Our Wills Week Collaboration with the Hillcrest Aids Centre Trust

On 12 September 2024, the Marsh Fidelity team partnered with the Hillcrest AIDS Centre Trust for our Wills Week event! National Wills Week is held during September each year with the aim of encouraging professionals to give back to the community by drafting wills for free.

Wills Week Information Session

Marsh Fidelity team members Daniel Marsh, Lee-Anne Don-Wauchope and Ariana Dwyer spent the day sharing knowledge on wills, trusts and estates, and drafting wills for free! Lee-Anne spoke about important things for beneficiaries of an estate to know, Ariana spoke about the legal requirements for a valid will and Daniel gave some general estate planning tips and advice. The event drew a diverse audience including financial planners, attorneys, bankers, gogos and local community workers!

Q&A Session

After the free information session, our guests were invited to interact during a Q&A session. We received very interesting and important questions on topics ranging from property ownership to marriage contracts and trusts for minor children! We were happy to provide clarity to our community on all of the burning questions they had about our areas of expertise.

Free Will Drafting

Following the Q&A session, Ariana, Daniel & Lee-Anne drafted wills on-site for community members free of charge! We were so grateful for the support on the day and the opportunity to assist and empower our community through drafting wills and providing vital information.
